ACC Pastoral Care Foundations in Pastoral Care (Northern Ireland) ACC Carnmoney Presbyterian Church, 258 Carnmoney Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 6JZ Tuesday 9 April to Tuesday 14 May 2024 A 6-session course that supports the development of firm foundations for the practical provision of pastoral care with others. The course is led by an experienced ACC trainer who will guide you through interactive teaching and facilitate activities that give practical experience of core pastoral care skills. ACC Pastoral Care Pastoral accompaniment at the end of life ACC Zoom Date to be confirmed The purpose of this training is to equip and enable pastoral carers to accompany those within their churches and communities who are at the end of their life. It aims to increase participant’s holistic understanding of the experience of end of life and how pastoral care can support the process of dying well. Note: This training has the potential to trigger challenging emotions and is not recommended for pastoral carers who have been recently bereaved.
